Okay, there's been a lot of cold weather where I am and people are promising it will get even colder so I'm getting prepared by putting together some hot chocolate mix. But, I don't like the stuff at the stores because they're freaking expensive and don't taste too good so here's one I'm going to try and then if it's good, I'll keep it as part of my recipe box. I like diet so I'm going to have to experiment how much Splenda will replace the sugar.
Ingredients
2 cups nonfat dry milk powder
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup powdered nondairy creamer
1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Measure all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk them until they are evenly blended.
- Store the mix in a tightly covered container at room temperature.
- Depending on how big your mug is, you should have 3 or 4 tablespoons of hot chocolate mix then put in the hot water.
I got this recipe from Disney Family Fun.
