Kick-Ass Movie is Twisted and Fun

At heart it's a traditional Good Guy gets the Bad Guy movie that's filmed as a live action cartoon;  it's an adult version of The Incredibles filmed a la Quentin Tarantino. And it's funny but in a violent over-the-top way. Definitely not for kids although the main characters are a high school boy and a tween girl.  It's a story of a teenager who dreams of a better world and tries to make it real by becoming a superhero -- without the superpowers but brave, naive and well-meaning, in the hopes of helping the people of New York City stand up to the festering criminal activity as well as the bullying that mars the everyday life of the average citizen.  He is helped in his endeavor by a father and daughter duo that really kick some ass! Go see it.
